72 Hole Scratch Event – 36 holes to be played at Worksop GC on Saturday 2nd May followed by a further 36 holes at Lindrick GC on Sunday 3rd May. The field will be limited to 72 players, and if oversubscribed a ballot will take place in accordance with the terms of the competition.

ENTRY FEE: £110 to include a light lunch on both days.

Handicaps

Competitions are open to players with an official active club CDH number. All entrants must be members of a golf club and have submitted at least three qualifying competition scores in the previous calendar year (2025). We do reserve the right to refuse entry.

Dress Code

Please kindly observe our Clubhouse Dress Code. The club reserves the right to refuse admission to the Course or Clubhouse if individuals are not able to comply with our dress code, normal courtesies or the rules of golf.

Buggies

With permission, insured buggy users may use single seat buggies only – weather permitting. Phone on the day of the competition if weather is adverse. Own insurance is mandatory. On production of insurance certificate, course regulations and description of routes will be supplied.

Payment

Please note that payment is required at the time of booking for the entire team, if payment is not received within 4 hours of the booking it will be automatically removed.

Winter Series

This winter, we’re excited to again host the Winter Series, giving you the chance to play individual Stableford competitions while competing across a four-event Winter Series.

Known for being one of the region’s premier winter venues, Worksop Golf Club offers excellent playing conditions year-round. With its superb drainage and consistently high-quality greens, it’s the perfect place to play when many other courses are closed or waterlogged.

Our Winter Series runs from November through to March, providing the ideal opportunity to enjoy competitive winter golf.

Event Dates

• Round 1 – Tuesday 11th November 2025

• Round 2 – Wednesday 3rd December 2025

• Round 3 – Friday 13th February 2026

• Round 4 – Thursday 19th March 2026

• Order of Merit after Event 2 – Standings

Entry Fee

• WGC Member – £25.00, Non Member – £45.00 per player, per event

• Coffee and a bacon roll on arrival

Format

• Individual Stableford

• Open to gents and ladies with a valid club handicap

• Professionals play off +1 or +2 – see terms & conditions

• Amateurs play off 95% of their playing handicap

Per Event (each player) – 1st prize £500.00. Prizes paid to 7th position (based on at least 72 players).

Overall Series (each player)
