Worksop Golf Club was formed initially in 1911 at a site near Mansfield Road. However in 1914 a new site was found and the club moved to Windmill Lane to establish what is now generally accepted as one of the top courses in the county of Nottinghamshire.

Worksop aims to continue a program of encouraging young golfers to achieve their potential. We have many keen single figure and improving golfers who take advantage of coaching and opportunities to play in events both locally and nationally. It is anticipated that many of our members will continue to represent the club at County and National level in the future.
